The alarm was set for 0700 this morning and the magical pre alarm psychic waves woke me at about 0630.
We packed up and jumped into the car ready for the road trip to a mate’s BBQ down south.
We were camping overnight so we had a tent and the bits we needed.
The journey down was ok. Got busy but flowed steadily. Had a wee pit stop for a maccies along the way.
We don’t get a maccies much these days so it was a nice treat. Arrived at Freda and Tim’s place at 1300ish and got the tent all set up.
We had a great day catching up with old friends who I have for 100 years now thought of as family.
Tim did a cracking BBQ and I ate way too much all washed down with a beer or two.
The day wouldn’t have been complete without out a fire at the end of the night.
It was a great day.
