What a day. I struggled to get up early ut eventually dragged myself out of bed just after 0710. My train was 0813 from Annan so I couldn’t mess around.
Left the house around 0745. I could definitely feel the booze from last night. A quick pitstop at Gregg’s was required and I went for sausage and egg roll and a black coffee.
The train wasn’t too busy and I saw Dads mates, Parky and Franky which was nice. Not seen any of those guys in ages.
I had about an hour to wait in Carlisle so I just got myself a good seat and watched the world go by. I arrived in Penrith at 0946 which was just after Hoddo and Jake.
We headed straight to Spoons because nothing else was open and sampled a few breakfast pints.
We decided to have lunch at WOODSTONE
Pizza & Flame Grill
Spicy wings for starter and a steak for main. Cracking.
Hoddo had got me a T-Shirt. Lol
Good old JBOC.
Few pints in Fell Brewery bar then a it stop for some rum in a boozer on the way back to the station.
Train home was on schedule and uneventful. I was tiring fast though and very glad to get home. Had a great day out.
